I haven't tried the selegiline patch - only oral selegiline up to 10 daily, and single doses up to 40 mg (sublingual). The only side-effect that is obvious enough to be readily identified is a diminished pupil size.
In my experience, reboxetine greatly reduces emotional sensitivity, even after you quit it, so that may be worth a try too.
