I have been fortunate. I have not had an increase in appetite nor weight gain at 30 mg or 45 mg. I know a lot of people do but I have not, thank God! I have found it helpful to be aware that the hunger will hit shortly after I take the med at night so I take it right before I go to sleep; and I fall asleep right after the drug hits my system. It makes me really sleepy and I just fall asleep and don't give into any hunger.
