I have a history of substance abuse so my PDOC will only prescribe Rivotril (Clonazepam/Klonopin) because she said that Ativan and Xanax have a shorter half-life and I would feel great on them and want to keep taking more as soon as the effects wore off. She said the only other one she would prescribe for me would be Valium.
