I've had the insomnia as well, starting from pretty low doses, even 25mg. I have started using triazolam or alprazolam for sleep. I also use some triazolam or alprazolam during the day since starting Lamictal. I have some irritation whenever I move up from one dosage level to another.
It sounds like you are getting good results at a relatively low dosage.

I knew that wasn't right, so she had me go back to 50mg/day, and I seem to have some kind effect on just 50mg. Has anyone on higher doses noticed that middle of the night insomnia?
