Hello all. I halfed my haloperidol last night, feel a lot better today no where near as much brain fog. I cant wait to get off this damn drug!!! oh yea, on 2.5mg as aposed to my normal 5mg dosage.
Now I need to find a new antipsychotic, anyone have any sugestions? My pdoc wants to put me on clozapine (I've been on every other atypical around and they didnt really work.)
I've been on Largactil(Thorazine) before and that was not much fun so I dont want to try another phenothiazine if I can help it.
Is Clozapine so bad? I can deal with the weekly blood tests in Hospital I'm just worried more so about the risk of seizure and myocarditis.
Maybe I should just dope myself up with benzo's and pretend the voices, paranoia and delusions arnt there hehe. Actually Im quite well at the momoent when Ive been bad I havent been able to use the net because I couldnt type coherant.
Any suggestions would be great thanks and It would also be awesome to hear from anyone on a typical antipsychotic.
