It doesn't surprise me one single bit. I personally suspect that stuff like this has been happening for ages (well I mean look what happened with the tabacco industry for instance). There was something vaguely similar with cymbalta or something like that, as fas as I can recollect.
This sort of thing happens with an awful of stuff. Like for instance, artifical sweetners, etc etc.
You should check out "The corporation" a film documentary about companies such as GSK.
Its terrible.
Apparently there's a whole lot of unscrupulous practices regarding docs/pdocs and drug companies.
