prozac was one of the first AD i was on, i was on it not quite a month when i had my first hospital stay, for extreme depression and while i was there i also had one of my worse manic episodes. i believe prozac to be the cause of both extremes.
after a few others i was finally put on wellbutrin and it worked quite well for me and without a mood stabilizer, however i was also on olanzipine so that may have been what helped also.
