Yes, you probably are addicted to it. Effexor is an addictive drug. You can play around with subtle symantics, but it is addicive in 99% of the definition. One can be psychologically dependent on it.
But the good news is that with a slow tapering shcedule you can discontinue if you desire, thoght with such as short trial, you would likely go back to baseline symtoms.
