Why are you so anti-ECT? I don't understand.
I know it can have bad affects on memory but surely you can tell during the course of the treatments what affect it is having. I wouldn't have thought after just one session you'd have years wiped out, wouldn't it be more cumulative so you'd be able to gauge what affect it was having as you're going along?
So if you felt at a certain point it was detrimental to your memory then you could call a halt to it. Or am I deluding myself as usual?
Also, maybe blueberry will have it and (hopefully it will work) and then maybe he will relapse (hopefully not) but then he won't have lost anything by having had it.
