In reply to Abililfy + Klonapin + Dexedrine - anyone?, posted by cindy lou on July 8, 2006, at 13:37:18
I combined adderall (60mgs) with Klonopin (4mgs) and Abilify (10-15mgs) plus ADs (Tofranil, Cymbalta) and BuSpar. Waaay too many meds; and the overall effect was just...odd. But..I could see how low-dose abilify might help out, especially if you're only going to use it for a bit (unless you're psychotic or very bipolar, I think its probably best to minimize antipsychotic usage).
Have you tried an anticonvulsant? If Klonopin and Abilify help with your mood issues, and you don't have psychotic issues, I would think it might be worth a shot..they're not fast acting like antipsychotics, but they do help a lot of people. The newer ones--trileptal, keppra, lamictal--can be used for all kinds of problems with minimal blood work and few complications.
