Abililfy + Klonapin + Dexedrine - anyone?

Posted by cindy lou on July 8, 2006, at 13:37:18

Is that a lethal combo, or an okay one?

I have been on Klonapin (0.5 mg. to 1 mg. at night for sleep/anxiety) and Dexedrine (5-10 mg. about 3x a day as needed for ADD and alertness) plus and antidepressant -- the last year the AD has been Lexapro.

Due to the onset of a major depression, my pdoc has had me switch from Lexapro to Abilify (I don't do well with most SSRIs or SNRIs - they all poop out on me or have bad side effects.)

The Abilify had some positive results the first week. Now I seem to be mending irritablity and agitation with Klonapin, and the ensuing fatigue from the Klonapin with Dexedrine.

It works, but .... ??? doesn't seem quite right.

Anyone else ever been on this combo or have any feedback or insight? Any advice is welcome!

thanks, cindy
