Paxil-Effexor-Reboxetine-tianeptine-selegile

Well, guys, since this is the closest discussion to what I had questions about, I'm going to post here. Right now I have been taking 40 mg of Paxil for the past 5 years, this past January, I started taking 75 mg of Effexor. Over the past three or four months, I've been purchasing and researching products sold as nootropics and anti-age pills. Some I've stuck with. Others I didn't feel were worth the money or caused a slight adverse reaction.

So, as I said, I'm taking the 40 mg of Paxil, and 75 mg of Effexor once a day, and my settled-upon nootropic medications at this time are Piracetam, Vinpicotine, pyritol, acetyl-l-carnitine, phosphatydylserine, and Idebenone. I also take selegiline 5mg once a day.

I have ordered and will be adding to the mix two new antidepressant meds, albeit at lower dosages than recommended, kind of as an experiment to see if the combination will make a better improvement in my depression and motivaiton. I know Effexor was a very helpful drug to be added to Paxil. I've been on Paxil so long that I'm not so sure I'm getting the full benefit from it, so my intent is to eventually get off the Paxil, but as you know, Paxil takes a long, long time to get away from. If I have to try another SSRI, ie. Zoloft, Prozac, so be it.

I have no side effects from the Paxil and Effexor, except for loss of interest in sex and in sexual performance (or could it be age, too), and weight gain.

Occasionally, I'll order Ritalin and Modafinil over the internet, and those seem to help immensely with my motivation to get things done.

Anyway, there is my plan in a nutshell. I'd like to hear any comment that anyone would have about what I'm thinking of doing, and I also plan to keep back in touch with you all to let you know what happens, what works, what doesn't work, etc.

Terry
