This is my first time posting to this site and I must say I have been truly suprised. I am taking effexor @ 75mg. at day. I have had good results from this but I am now going to see about switching to Wellbuterin. My reasons are the withdrawls, weight gain, and sex drive. The withdrawls are horrible. I lost my perscription one month and had to go a couple of days without it. I thought it would get better after a day or so. It didn't. I had to leave work and all I could do that would make me feel better is sleep. It was miserable and I do not want to go through that again. Next is the weight gain issue. Until I read this site I did not put the two together. It was such a relief to read how other people have gone through this. Finally is the sexual side effect. When I lost my perscription and did not take it for a few days the one thing I did notice was the sex drive. Even though I of course could not take advantage of it because of the other feelings. I would love to have this back. My husband would love for me to have this back. Anyhow, my question is this. Can anyone tell me anything about takeing Wellbuterin. Alone, not including. I have an appointment with my doctor next week and am really looking forward to it. Thanks in advance. Sorry so long.
