Hi Jane,

Lexapro. It's been really good stuff for me and this was after some failed and some impressively yucky startups with other SSRI's.

I only did Prozac very briefly, so personally, I don't think I could say much about its effect on anxiety. Over the years, there have been mixed reports from others I've noted here. We are all so different.

Lex has been good to me. Using Klonopin during the startup was helpful as, by far, the biggest untoward startup effect for me was a big upramp of the anxiety symptoms. After a few weeks, this gradually abated and I've gotten excellent control of the toxic life freezing anxiety, which is wonderful.
