I'm on 20mg of prozac.... he started me on 10mg. This is the same doc that had me just stop taking 75 mg of effexor and start taking 10 mg of prozac ("Oh, you shouldn't have any withdrawal effects, you're on such a low dose"). I thought I was gonna die (felt so horrible), so I started taking 37.5 mg for awhile until I could withdraw from the effexor. I absolutely hate him. I wish I could change docs.

> Your're right about the pdocs. If I had a GP who would prescribe pschotropic meds that's who I'd go to. Mine is a moron too. l0minutes and the script pad comes out. Prozac is activating. What dose did he start you on as I've heard low dose prozac is good for anxiety . Around 5mg. Love Phillipa
