Have you tried adding Wellbutrin, in place of Celexa? That seems to work pretty well for some. Gives energy and reduces apathy, plus the atypical or whatever mood stabilizer you're using seems to work better.

Also, dumping Celexa and just going with Lamictal....I wonder if that would help. I'm sure you've probably already tried that though.

SSRI's are just bad about triggering hypomania in susceptible folks.

Sounds like your trigger might have been the alcohol withdrawal though.
