I formaly lived in LA. Both of these docs were very big on MAOI's, long before Emsam. I am sure they both not only will prescribe it for you, but probably have free samples. They both studied at UCLA. The easiest way to get an MAOI like Emsam from one of these guys is to bring in your list of failed meds and let them suggest an MAOI. When you give them no other choices from having tried everything already, they will quickly go for the MAOI. I imagine any pdoc will prescribe EMSAM as the first MAOI to try now, since it has reduced liability without the diet. Good luck!!
