Hi tgo --You're right on it. I've been diagnosed Bipolar II and I am currently taking .5 mg of Risperdal.. which is not a big dose I know.
It look like I would need more "mood flatners" (stabilizater).. but I have tried a lot of them and not much do me well. I'm taking Lamictal 300mg which maybe we could up to 400mg; but it tends to loose some of it's antidepressive at this dosage I think. The best would be to increase Risperdal but even at .5mg it gives me some weird facial pain that only anticholinergic can make go (and I hate anticholinergic feelings) and there is also the fact that I go on Parnate in hope it could be good for me at the sexual level.. Risperdal hurt me a lot there.
So.. I just don't know.
Any Idea tgo ?

> Your symptoms sound like you could be Bipolar II. I wonder if adding risperdal or an antipsychotic would help, sometimes they do. I would definitely gets your dr's opinion on this one, as those are not normal reactions to this med.
