Serzone does work, and I've found it has side effects that are sometimes similar, but much *less* than SSRIs. The bad thing about serzone is that when you start taking it, it can really be a bitch to get used to it. Irritability, crying, abdominal pain, headaches, and extreme lethargy were the main ones for me. My liver tests have also come back normal (last one about 2 weeks ago, have been on med for about 4 months.) Serzone is a subtle medicine, and it's effects will come out over time. I like serzone, but I have high hopes for EMSAM. Good luck.
