I am so glad you are having a positive experience on Effexor. I have asked my doctor how to get off the drug and she says "Why"? It is working for you. I am still being monitored so continue to take it and live happily. I don't have the impulsive urges I used to have or the depression when I did or said something really stupid. I am concerned when I read some of the posts here that people are mixing their prescriptions. That can be very bad.
