Antidepressants don't work except for when they do

Posted by SLS on March 3, 2006, at 7:32:07

I guess this seems like an obvious statement to make.

Which ones work most often? How often?

Which ones work best? How well?

Which ones have the most favorable side effect profiles? What are these side effects and how severe are they?

The answers to these questions are less obvious. Is it a cop-out to simply say that it depends on the person and their individual biology and psychosocial matrix?

Sounds good to me.
