Are you using Remeron or REMERONSolTab® ? REMERONSolTab® shouldn't be cut, as it has a special orally disintegrating format (that means it literally decomposes as it enters your mouth). I can't imagine any great danger but it probably would taste "yucky", as well as the fact that it wasn't intended to be split like Remeron so one would end up with unknown amounts of pill fragments and dust and they would be subject to degradation by the air.That's just my guess.
