Hello, and happy new year!
I have moderate social anxiety + generalized anxiety problems.
I have been on Effexor XR for about 9 months, I started to tapper it off over 2 months, and I believe I'm finally off it. My pdoc recommened Effexor XR for social anxiety. A few months ago, he asked me to take 0.5mg of Clonezepam on regular basis, and I have been(sometimes skipped the dosage when I only had to stay home all day).
Clonezepam has been heaven for me. Since my pdoc and I know that Effexor XR alone didn't do a thing for social anxiety, we agreed to tapper off compleltely.
The only drawback of Clonezepam I'm experiencing is depression and mental fogginess from it. I'd like to ask my pdoc to prescribed me Wellbutrin to encounter these symptoms.
Questions:
First, I wonder if anyone can benefit his/her social anxiety by taking Wellbutrin.Second, what is the difference b/w Wellbutrin SR and XL versions? I even doubt XL version is available here in Canada.
Third, is Wellbutrin's withdrawal symptoms as bad as Effexor XR? I've tried several other SSRI's and effexor XR was the worst among them.
Fourth, I'm 24 years old male, and hairloss from Wellbutrin is my biggest concern. What would be the chances that I'll lose hair from this drug. If I do, will they grow back when I stop the medication? Also, I wonder if supplements that claim to grow hair or slow down male-pattern baldness process to some point actually effective.
