klonopin by far has been the best of drugs to treat my GAD and SAD. I've been taking it 12 years, no poop out.

But it didn't start working till I got over 1mg. I've heard of others that didn't have much luck with it till they took a higher dose usually between 1 and 4 mgs.

I take it at night, not at day. It helps me sleep and I don't wake up tired. The sedative side affects go away, but the anti anxiety benefits remain. I have heard a few say that it can poop out and perhaps it does with certain individuals, but I don't think its the norm. I also wonder if it poops out because of a low dose.

Because klonopin has such a long half life if you taking it everyday you should be able to take it just at bedtime. That should help with feeling tired.

Blending it with an anti depressent is quite common and seems as so many that have anxiety as their primary problem have issues with mild or moderate depression/energy & low mood problems.

I think the klonopin is half of the solution. The anti depressants are just trial and error but if energy is what you seek, wellbutrin would be a good one to try (though it's not know to help with anxiety).
