hmmm...depending on the insurance benefits, I'd probably try to get a therapist, a psychiatrist (a GOOD one), and a pscyhopharmacologist..you'll probably also want to do extensive lab work to exclude conditions mimicking depression. In EXTREME cases, psychosurgery is an option, but I wouldn't recommend it *at all*. Sometimes going med free actually helps people...treatment-resistant schizophrenics, for example, are sometimes given a neuroleptic-free period when all else fails. Good luck.
