Now that's just wrong. Why do people treat depression like it's a weakness instead of an illness? You stick to your guns and make sure you take care of you. I don't have a job right now, have plenty of spare time, and golly! the anxiety, depression, anger, and fear are still there. (The Effexor keeps me from acting out on this by screaming, crying, pacing, etc.)

Have you asked them to set you up with counseling to help? The meds don't work all by themselves. There is a reason for what's wrong (usually). Being pro-active in your own recovery is one good step towards good health.
