About 50mg seroquel worked good. 2.5mg or 5mg zyprexa worked good. And no, it isn't the sedation part of it that quells the anxiety. I believe it is the receptor blocking part of it that does the job. They do work as good as benzos, for me anyway, but they feel different than benzos. Hard to explain. Benzos shut down overactivity in the brain, whereas the antipsychotics block the overactivity so you can't feel it.
