Amphetamine tolerance varies greatly from person to person. I've been on stimulants for numerous years and haven never grown tolerance - at least to the stimulant effects. The appetite suppression decreased a lot - is still there a bit - but not as strong as it was years ago.
So I would say - don't start worrying about tolerance if you've just begun stimulant therapy. Yeah some people will tell you they gre tolerance after 3-4 months - but remember that everyone's different. I've been on stimulants for 5 years now and no tolerance or need for an increase in dosage.
