I know........ but generic fluoxetine is very cheap. In the UK, 30 fluoxetine 20mg capsules cost about £1.50 (trade price). On a private (full price) prescription, the customer would pay about £4. All NHS prescriptions cost £6.50.
In the last few years, the price of generic fluoxetine has dropped, dropped, dropped, dropped........ it's now the cheapest AD in the UK, cheaper than any of the TCAs.
