the 5ht2a antagonism by seroquel could help as well, i hope. you may need to push the dose higher for that effect though... it seems lower doses like 12.5mg are primarily useful for sleep. the antihistamine effect may be very potent, but i'm not sure if the anti-5ht2a would be. if you can't tolerate the sedative effects would zyprexa still be an option?

ps. i really hope you feel better soon. the person you lost is very lucky to have someone like you to care so much for them.
