Yes Ed, Parnate 10mg/d, deprenyl 1mg/d is my current thing.
I think the insomniac potential of an extra 10mg/d Parnate is higher than 1mg/d deprenyl, but mood would be improved if sleep was OK. Chairman MAO said he had trouble sleeping on any dose of Parnate, but he was no doubt referring to higher doses. Laurenjb was having trouble sleeping last I heard. Of course I could take Ambien or something. It's not an ideal situation, whatever you do.
What I noticed about Parnate straight away was what is probably a seratonin effect, a sort of warmth, like a day in summer, not prosocial but perhaps pro-equilibrium, more happy being alone so to speak.
All of this is affected by being older, both sex and sleep. Neither is so robust (as they should have been, sex especially) when younger.
Certainly if I was going to sacrifice sex I would do it for Nardil.
