To Declan

Hi!

I was thinking..... (rare, I know LOL)

You're on Parnate 10mg + selegiline 1mg at the moment?

........but you're still not feeling well.

Why not drop the selegiline and increase the Parnate to 20mg?

Parnate, like selegiline, inhibits MAO-B and should (theoretically) share selegiline's (alleged) neuroprotective properties.

20mg Parnate might improve your mood, it's a much more reliable antidepressant than selegiline. Hopefully, if you stopped selegiline, your insomnia wouldn't get any worse on Parnate 20mg. I think you said you were concerned that Parnate might cause sexual dysfunction .........but sexual dysfunction doesn't seem to be that common on (low doses of) Parnate anyway. In fact, lots of people have good sex even when they're on high doses of Parnate.

I think it could be worth a try. What do you think? If you didn't like it you could always return to your previous regimen.
