Interesting. I was given lopressor 25mg before starting my first antidepressant Paxil l0mg. Pdoc said it would cause less anxiety. I felt tired and drained. It took 3 months for the meds to work and that was with xanax and beer. I always thought beer or any alchohol interfered with the way an AD worked and negated the medication. Any comments?
