Hi. I have just begun to significantly feel the antidepressant effects of nardil. It is like night and day. I thought I might never find something to alleviate my treatment resistant depression. It has been seven years and I have been on a plethora of drugs. This is the first true antidepressant response I've had, and I feel like it will last for awhile (just a hunch based on the way things have been gradually improving). This board is a large part of the reason I decided to try nardil in the first place. I am glad I found it. I wonder what it is that makes nardil so different from the SSRI's? For me the ssri's did nothing, yet both medications primarily affect serotonin. Anyway, thank you to everyone on the board who took the time to post about their experiences, especially their success. In a way, success stories are more important then failure stories, and I think it is great when someone takes the time to go back online and write about their successes.
