Why? They are very safe and, used therapeutically produce great results. Furthermore, over time, it has been seen that long-term benzo users (like me) tend to LOWER their dose.

SSRI's are fairly weak drugs for the most part IMO. Their fundamental action, blocking re-uptake to increase 5HT rests on a false theory IMO.
