I would love to try ritalin! I don't think my doc would presribe it - we get like, five minutes with the doc, who looks at you, and doesn't take you seriously. I see different docs but it doesn't help....maybe its just me. I think i will ask the health centre if they have a GP who specialises in mental health. I mean, my friend who has diabetes gets to see a specialist GP so why don't people with mental health difficulties get the same treatment? It really frustrates me how my mental health really really affects my life, but the NHS doesn't seem to really offer any help. I mean, if I had a broken arm etc (something physical) then there would be all kinds of help...... well I shouldn't complain - at least healthcare in the UK is free. I really really feel for the people who simply can't afford their meds in the US - I mean venlafaxine costs $140 a month over there! and it costed me like £6 (like is that ~$10?) a month. Anyway in case anyone was wondering Meri-Tuuli means Sea-Breeze in finnish....
