Thanks so much for your concern but I've tried lots of different drugs over the past four years, I'll list them below. As you say I might be back to square one 6 months down the road but at least maybe just maybe (if the ECT works) I'll get six months of a life in between. I'm at square one now, what have I got to lose? Or maybe I'll end up at -2 or something.
I'd seriously have this Deep Brain Stimulation (if they'd let me) I'm really prepared to risk my life to get better. Because the life I have now doesn't feel like one. I know that I'm better off than some people, in that I can walk, talk, see etc but I'm really not getting any enjoyment out of life right now and I'll take whatever risks I can to get some sort of quality life.
Also, I've done my research and have made sure that the hospital where I want to have the treatment is reputable, they do do EEGs there and their staff are fully trained so my psychiatrist told me.
Why are you so against ECT Linkadge? Have you had it? Who are these people who you've seen who've had botched jobs, where did they have it and how long ago?
Mr Scott seems to be having great success on it and so is this lady called lucinda on Depression.medication.com site.
How are you anyway, I've read many of your posts and I remember you saying that rTMS really helped you as you'd made your own device just can't understand why you don't keep using it if it works.

Went to Vancouver to try rTMS (didn't work for me at all).
