From remedyfind.com

LEXAPRO:
"effectiveness" rated 6.6
"lack of side effects" rated 5.6
(768 ratings)

CELEXA:
"effectiveness" rated 6.6
"lack of side effects" rated 5.7
(191 ratings)

I read through about 25 reports for each drug looking for the "sedating vs. activating" factor.
It seems to be split roughly 50/50. For both Lexapro and Celexa, some report that it makes them tired, others say it makes them anxious, many reporting insomnia.

My hope was that Lexapro had less side effects that Celexa, and might help insomnia- or at least not cause it.
