Thanks for ya'lls feedback. I've tried Celexa but not Lexapro. Both are manufactured by Forest Laboratories... there was some debate on this board a couple years ago that Forest came out with Lexapro just because its patent was about to expire on Celexa. My understanding is that the make-up of the drugs are practically identical. (Maybe some of the chemists around care to comment). At the same time there are numerous reports around that Lexapro has a better side effect profile. Seems like Forest Labs has even claimed that, but I'm not sure. Seems like the Pharma industry likes to engage smoke and mirrors at times. Just wondering about real people's experiences.
