Sorry to hear that. I know most drugs in that class take up to 4 weeks to fully work. She is prob having side effects, that should* eventually go away. I took effexor and it did nothing for me, so i changed to prozac. Unfortunately, its like a game of trial and error with these meds. Just be supportive like you are and let her know you are there for her.
