You're really responsible with your Klonopin use (1mg/month if I recall correctly) so don't worry that you are not facing up to things if you take it now and then. A certain amount of psychic pain is appropriate in this world, and what you describe as being like depression (sadness, anhedonia,anxiety, negative thoughts) sound appropriate enough to your current situation. And you sound connected, rather than not, to the world, but in a painful way. I've never been really clear about the difference between depression and sadness and so on, like you seem to say. Maybe it takes as long as it takes. Good luck with it all.
