I was on risperdal for about a year. I took it at night to help me sleep and it was great! I went to my new doctor a month ago to get a refill and she REFUSED to give it to me. I put on a lot of weight and she said it was one of the WORST weight gain meds... So I have been having a hell of time sleeping for the past month. What she doesn't know is that I have been taking remeron here and there to help me sleep, which is ALSO a HUGE weight gain med. The meds that work so well seem to cause so much weight gain, darn it!
