I'm not sure whether galactorrhea has been reported with nort, sometimes they list all the side effects reported for TCAs, regardless of whether it's been reported with that specific TCA- this is the case for the nort data sheet in the UK.
I found one article that said nort had no effect on prolactin levels and another article which said small increases may occur.
Re the anxiety: perhaps you could take 25mg desipramine for a few days- a short taper if you like.
Re the sedation: When taking amitrip, most of the sedation come from the amitriptyline molecule itself, not from the nort :-) Nort is more likely to cause drowsiness that desipramine but I think it would tend to wear off after a few days/weeks- it wouldn't be as bad as ami.
