Seroquel

Posted by alexandra_k on April 4, 2005, at 18:51:46

I used to have a high tolerance for medications but having been pretty much off them for a few years now I seem to be particularly sensitive to them.

I am supposed to take 50mg of seroquel (which really isn't very much at all) in the evening. I take it around 7pm, but then I find I have to crash around 7.30pm. I feel really drugged and groggy and woozy and just have to sleep. I get up around 7 or 7.30am and still feel a bit groggy and drugged. I know meds can take a little while (a few days) for your body to adjust to them - but this has been going on for a little over a week. I am worried about taking them any later at night because I might not be able to get up on time in the morning. I have been on seroquel before - 250mg 2X daily so I don't know why this pathetic amount is doing this to me...

Will I adjust in time, or should I ask about cutting it back even more??
