Wellbutrin's effect on brain chemicals??

Posted by MM on March 3, 2005, at 17:07:01

Anyone know what Wellbutrin's exact effect on Dopamine and Norepinephrine is? I read an article that said increasing Norepinephrine is not a good idea for people with anxiety, meaning it increases it (or at least for people with Panic attacks), so I'm wondering if that's why Wellbutrin causes anxiety? Smoking increases Dopamine which is probably why so many anxious people smoke (or am I wrong about the Dopamine?) and why Wellbutrin is good for quitting smoking.
