i'm a mixed and cycling bipolar. at the moment im on 1000mg epival (depakote, whatever), 200mg lamictal, as well as 150 effexor and 2mg clonazepam.
i know topamax is usually script'd to counteract weight gain but i've also read that as a mood stabiliser, it tends to work well in evening out the mixed and cycling. been on the aforementioned cocktail for 5 months. my mixed outbursts have calmed down so no more cutting, which is good. but i'm still cycling as often and to the same extent as ever.
i'd love to know what kind of experience ppl have had with t'max as a mood stabiliser. what did the rest of your med-mix look like? all comments much appreciated :)
