As for DXM, which I used before the magnesium, I like Delsym because it's like a 12-hour formula or something. I wish there was a way to get extended release magnesium tablets...

Although I would guess (wildly) that DXM is a more potent NMDA antagonist than magnesium, I decided to stick with magnesium instead of DXM because I can tolerate pills better on a daily basis than sickeningly sweet cough syrup.

I was wondering if there was a decently priced extended release capsule or something. I think Ames Sans Vie mentioned he took Dexalone??? I'll have to run a search on it. Is magnesium taurate better absorbed? I have magnesium citrate at home I take occasionally. I also thought about Memantine... but I don't know if my doctor will prescribe that. Maybe the Memantine could also help out with the Klonopin memory problems I sometimes have.
