I don't know about this one. I found more about it's half life which is that it does the double metabolism trick, so its half-lives are 3-7 hours and 9-13 hours. That means the combined half-life is anywhere from 12-20 hours.

So from what I've read, it metabolizes different things at different times (but with the same dose). It looks like Effexor FIRST begins to work on Seratonin, then later hits norepiphrine.

It claims to take anywhere from two to five days to clear out of your system but people on here having a tough time for weeks.

I'm puzzled by this one..
