I took Lexapro for over a year and I quit cold turkey off of 60 mgs. Give it about 2 - 3 weeks for all the symptoms to get out of your system. The only thing it did to me was make me a little weepy and wanting to cry a lot for no reason but that isn't really a bad withdrawel effect in my opinion. Good Luck to you whatever you decide.
