is gabatril a lot like neurontin? i've heard it mentioned here and there as an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer, but my impression from what i've heard is that it's hit and miss-- not a very powerful drug like, say, depakote or tegretol, and effective for a small percentage of people and more placebo-like for others. is it a mood stabilizer that calms anxiety like neurontin supposedly does? when i was on neurontin, i took up to 700mg a day. the only effect i noticed was that i was more tired than before. the trial was short-lived. any experiences with gabitril or comparisons to neurontin?
